It is with immense gratitude that we at Sperr’s Fuel and Heating announce a significant milestone. After a long and thoughtful process, we have partnered with a seasoned professional in the fuel industry, Kristen Baiocco, to take over our heating oil and HVAC business. Kristen is the owner of American Energy Supply, located in Upper Chichester, PA, a family-owned fuel business we know well and trust. In the past, we have partnered with Kristen on the commercial delivery side of the business and feel a kinship with her great work ethic, hands-on leadership, can-do attitude, and integrity in all business matters.

“I’m proud to carry on the Sperr’s tradition of excellent customer service. I look forward to coming to know each of my new customers and providing them with quality fuel oil and top-notch HVAC services to keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I’m very pleased that Drew and Brian have agreed to stay on and know they will be a huge asset as we engage with our new customers,” says Kristen Baiocco.

Mark and I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you. Many of you have been customers since John and Rose Sperratore started Sperr’s Fuel and Heating 40 years ago. Many have become friends and we consider you a part of the Sperr’s family, so this was not a decision we took lightly.  We know that Kristen and her excellent team are committed to providing the same level of service and value you have come to depend on from Sperr’s Fuel. About Kristen Baiocco Kristen is an experienced business owner that truly understands the service industry. She is customer-focused, serving homeowners in Delaware County and the surrounding area. Will the new management know when to make my automatic delivery?
Yes, Laura and Kristen worked diligently on the backend to transfer customer lists, delivery schedules, payment profiles, etc to provide a seamless transition. Laura will make herself available to assist with the transition for the next several months.
Whom do I contact for oil delivery?
You can still call the main office number 610-543-3747 to arrange for an oil delivery, pay a bill, or schedule a service. You may hear a new friendly voice on the other end but trust that they are excited to learn about their new customers.
Will you offer HVAC service?
Yes, we will service heating and cooling systems as well as perform installations of boilers, heaters, hot water heaters, mini split systems, and AC equipment. Happily, you will still see Brian out in the Sperr’s service truck carrying on that same great, friendly service.
When can I schedule HVAC Service?
You can call for any HVAC service during regular business hours, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  We know that HVAC equipment doesn’t follow a Mon-Fri schedule, so for after-hours emergency calls, please leave a message.  Messages are checked regularly to provide timely service for your issues.
How can I pay my bill?
You can mail a check to PO Box 232, Chester Heights, PA 19017 or use the Sperrs.com website to make online payments at www.sperrs.com/pay-your-bill
Will you offer service contracts?
Yes, we will continue to offer a service contract. The service contract will remain at $375 and will include one free burner cleaning per contract term. Service calls and covered parts are included in the contract, and any non-covered parts or service calls not related to your burner (AC, water, mixed-use) are charged at our regular rate of $175, and parts (new, never refurbished) are offered at 20% off the regular price. Service contracts are offered on a rotating basis, so even if you’ve had your heater cleaned by Sperr’s Fuel this year, you can still put a contract into place now and be eligible for a free cleaning next year before your contract expires.
Will you offer a budget plan?
We think budget plans are a terrific way for customers to manage their monthly expenses. We’ve helped customers realize that paying a set amount each month gave them freedom from large, unexpected oil bills, especially during the winter months and Christmas when spending tends to increase.   If you were on a budget last year, your renewal was sent to you and takes effect July 1st.  How it works:  Your last season’s usage (in gallons) is multiplied by a projected cost per gallon for the next season.  In this year’s scenario, we think $4/gal should be sufficient.  The price will fluctuate up and down, but $4 is likely a good average. That number is then spread out by 10 months for equal payment.  All credit balances prior to July 3, 2023, are automatically transferred to the new system and remain on your account. You do not need to do anything.  For example:   Customer A used 500 gals of fuel from September 2022 to May 2023.  We would multiply 500 gals x $4 to arrive at $2,000. That is divided by 10 months, and the payment would be $200/month. Customer B used 1,000 gals of fuel from September 2022 to May 2023.  We would multiply 1,000 gals x $4 to arrive at $4,000. That is divided by 10 months, and the payment would be $400 per month.
