We work with you to determine your average oil usage and establish a delivery schedule that will keep your furnace running. For most customers, delivery happens once every 4 weeks. With no additional delivery cost, you pay only for the oil you need, when you need it.
On-Demand Delivery
Our on-demand delivery services can often reach you same-day or next-day.
If you’ve been left in the cold before by another vendor, you know when you need oil, you need it fast. We work hard to ensure your home is fueled so your family can be comfortable and safe.
Why Automatic Delivery Saves You Money
Automatic Delivery lets us pull your delivery when prices dip. Will-Call customers often miss these savings by just a few days. We’ve saved automatic customers more than $1 per gallon recently by timing deliveries for them.
Automatic customers also don’t have minimum gallon requirements, since your home is routed with nearby stops. That efficiency means we can make smaller drops when prices fall—something Will-Call customers can’t take advantage of with the 150-gallon minimum.

How our Heating Oil Budget Plan Works:
- We look at your usage over the last heating season to estimate your usage for the upcoming season and estimate your budget.
- You choose a 10, 11, or 12-month budget plan
- Enrollment period is June 12th through June 30th
- First payment is due July 1st

Why Our Fuel Trucks Move Slowly
If you’ve seen one of our trucks moving slowly on the road, here’s why. These vehicles carry hazardous materials and can weigh up to 54,000 lbs when fully loaded.
They take time to accelerate, and on highways, they typically travel around 60–65 mph for safety.
They also require significantly more distance to stop, so sudden movements in front of them create dangerous situations. Keeping a safe distance helps protect everyone on the road.
At many homes, there’s no safe place to turn around at the end of the driveway. Our drivers often stop and back in to avoid backing out into traffic and to keep our team out of harm’s way while they complete your delivery.

Why does the price of heating oil change so often?
Heating oil prices move with the global market, which can change several times a day based on world events, supply and demand, and government policy.
While Sperr’s Fuel and Heating can’t control the market, we work hard to control everything else.
We keep our operating costs low, schedule efficiently, and buy fuel strategically when prices dip. Our goal is simple: deliver reliable heat at the fairest price we can, backed by honest communication.
Do you offer a budget plan to help spread out heating costs?
Yes! Our Budget Plan gives you predictable monthly payments based on your estimated yearly usage and historical fuel costs. The payments can be spread across 10- to 12-month plans.
It smooths out high winter bills and makes budgeting simple. Enrollment usually begins in June or July.
Is there a minimum order amount?
Yes. Will-Call customers have a 150-gallon minimum to keep routes efficient and pricing fair for everyone. For special situations, call our office—smaller deliveries may be possible with additional fees.
What if I have an outdoor oil tank?
Just let Sperr’s know when ordering.
Outdoor tanks need fuel treated with anti-gelling additives, so your system runs smoothly in freezing temperatures. We’ll make sure the right blend goes into your tank.
What options does Sperr’s Fuel and Heating offer for residential fuel delivery?
You can choose Will-Call or Automatic Delivery.
Will-Call:
- You monitor your own tank.
- Call 3–5 business days ahead for a refill.
- Emergency same-day service has an added fee.
Automatic Delivery:
- We track your usage and weather patterns.
- Deliveries are scheduled automatically.
- No rush or emergency fees, ever.
Do you offer emergency fuel delivery?
Yes. If you run out of heating oil, Sperr’s Fuel and Heating offers same-day emergency delivery with an additional fee.
We also assist with emergency priming and restart of your oil heat system when needed, and can provide treated fuel for outdoor tanks during extreme cold.
Do I need to be home for my heating oil delivery?
Yes, we require an adult 18 or older to be home for every heating oil delivery to ensure safe access to your property.
If we’re also servicing equipment inside your home, someone will need to provide entry for our technician.
How do I know when it’s time to order more oil?
If you’re a Will-Call customer, we recommend ordering when your gauge hits 1/4. That gives us the 3–5 business days we need to plan your delivery and avoid delays due to bad weather.
If the gauge float is low or not visible, call us immediately.
