The ideal candidate would have a background in HVAC, or work experience with cleaning and servicing heaters, boilers, and water heaters. Interested in team players who are honest to a fault, and have a positive attitude.

Due to the emergency nature of our business, the ideal candidate will live within southern Delaware County, PA. Salary is commensurate with work experience.

We offer a competitive starting rate with overtime pay and paid vacation after one year of service. Our fleet boasts clean, late model trucks. We provide uniforms and an allowance for boots.

Candidates must be able to: 1) pass a background screening and drug test, 2) climb in and out of trucks repeatedly, and lift 70 lbs.

Interested applicants should apply by sending resume and 3 professional references via email to EOE.

The Driver's Helper supports the drivers and HVAC mechanics to perform their job to the best of their abilities.  The helper is expected to be reliable and punctual, so as not to hold up the work of the team as we perform service for our customers.  They enhance the visibility and credibility of Sperr’s Fuel by arriving to the job prepared to work with a clean uniform, boots, gloves, and in some cases, safety glasses, a hardhat and other safety equipment.

Job responsibilities include being the eyes and ears for the drivers, pulling the hose from the truck to the house or equipment, cleaning and maintaining the trucks and equipment, and other related duties.

Full on-the-job training is provided, but the ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is reliable and trustworthy, with a good attitude and able to work well within a small team setting. Qualified candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, or have experience working with hand tools.

Candidates must be able to: 1) pass a background and drug screening, 2) have a valid driver's license, 3) climb in and out of trucks, equipment, and trailers repeatedly, and lift 70 lbs.
